Product description
Micrex Iron is a three-component, water-based epoxy decorative mortar built for floors that see heavy traffic. Selected high-strength aggregates give a highly wear-resistant surface even at minimal thickness, with a refined mineral texture — ideal for shops, showrooms, warehouses and busy commercial interiors.

How it's applied
- Prepare — grind, shot-blast or pressure-wash the concrete; grind tiled floors hard and repair loose tiles with R4 repair mortar.
- Prime — one coat of Primer 3C broadcast with 0.1–0.5 mm quartz; vacuum loose quartz once dry. Treat oily surfaces with Primer 2C.
- Mix — mix A+B for at least 2 minutes at low speed, then gradually add C and mix for about 1 minute.
- Apply — spread quickly with a steel trowel at 0.5–1 kg/m² per coat.
- Finish — seal with Aquamax at approx. 0.05–0.1 kg/m².
