Liquid Metal Dining Table | Oxidart

Oxidart — oxidised metal, finished by hand.

Oxidart begins with a smooth microcement base over a timber core. Liquid iron, copper and bronze are then applied by hand and oxidised, drawing rich natural patinas out of the metal itself. The colour isn't pigment sitting on the surface — it is the metal reacting — so the depth and movement are real, and no two tops are ever alike. The finish reads differently as the light changes through the day.

Every top is sanded, polished and sealed with a protective polyurethane lacquer, giving a hard-wearing surface with a lasting metallic sheen that stands up to everyday dining use.

Sizes and leg styles

Four sizes — 760 x 760mm, 910 x 910mm, 1830 x 910mm and 2400 x 1200mm — with ten leg styles: Z Shape, X Shape, Extra Large X, Flowy X, Farmhouse X, Chevron, Wishbone Dining, Butterfly, A Legs and Diamond. Prices from £950.

If the size or leg style you need isn't listed, call or email us. Tops are made to your dimensions, so very little is off the table.

Every piece is made to order in our own workshop in Newcastle-under-Lyme, near Stoke-on-Trent, and finished by hand. The same liquid metal finishes are available on kitchen worktops, islands, bar tops, splashbacks and wall panels — see Design Works Bespoke.

This piece is produced specifically for you, in your chosen size and leg style, and cannot be returned or refunded once the order is confirmed. Samples are supplied free on request — order a sample set to see the finish in your own room first. Supplied subject to our terms and conditions. Your statutory rights in respect of faulty or misdescribed goods are unaffected.
