You may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the website without express written permission from us.
4. Product Information
We aim to ensure that all product descriptions, prices, and availability details are accurate. However, errors may occur. In such cases, we reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice.
All prices are listed in British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT unless otherwise stated. The full price inclusive of all mandatory charges, including delivery fees, will be clearly shown before you are asked to place your order. No mandatory charges will be added at the final step of checkout that were not displayed at the point of product selection, in compliance with the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024.
5. Ordering and Payment
By placing an order on our website, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete. You are responsible for ensuring the validity of your payment method and for any associated charges. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where there has been a pricing or availability error.
6. Delivery
Delivery times and charges will be displayed at checkout. While we strive to deliver goods within the estimated timeframe, we are not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers or events beyond our control.
7. Returns, Cancellations and Your Right to Cancel
Your Statutory Right to Cancel (Within 14 Days)
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 calendar days from the day after you receive your goods, without giving a reason. If your order consists of multiple items, the 14-day period runs from the day after you receive the last item.
To exercise your right to cancel, please notify us within the 14-day period by emailing sales@homeofclay.co.uk. Once you have notified us, you then have a further 14 days to return the goods to us.
Return Postage Costs
Unless an item is faulty or incorrectly supplied, you are responsible for the cost of returning goods to us. We recommend using a tracked delivery service, as we cannot accept liability for items lost in transit.
Refunds Within the 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
We will process your refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, or of receiving proof that the goods have been sent back, whichever is earlier. Refunds will be issued using the original payment method. We will refund the standard delivery charge you paid at the time of purchase; if you selected an upgraded delivery option, we will refund the equivalent standard delivery cost only.
Returns After 14 Days (Change of Mind)
After the 14-day statutory cooling-off period has expired, we are not obligated to accept returns for change-of-mind reasons. Any refund or exchange outside of this period is entirely at our discretion. If we agree to accept a return after 14 days, you will be responsible for the cost of return postage and a refund or exchange is not guaranteed.
Faulty or Incorrectly Supplied Items
Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by the above. If you receive a faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied item, please contact us at sales@homeofclay.co.uk as soon as possible. In such cases, we will cover the cost of return postage. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015:
- Within the first 30 days: you are entitled to a full refund.
- Within 6 months of purchase: we will offer a repair, replacement, or refund. If the fault cannot be repaired or the replacement is unsuccessful, you are entitled to a refund.
- Between 6 months and 6 years: you may still be entitled to a repair, replacement, or partial refund if you can demonstrate the item was faulty at the time of purchase.
Exempt Products (Non-Returnable)
The following product types are exempt from our returns policy and from the statutory right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, as they are either made to order, personalised, or specially sourced to your requirements:
- Bespoke and made-to-order tiles
- All imported tiles
- Special order imported tiles
- Cut-to-size stone and tiles
No returns, refunds, or exchanges will be accepted on these products unless they are received faulty, damaged, or not as described. The 14-day cooling-off period does not apply to these product types. Where this applies to a product, it will be clearly stated on the product page before you place your order.
If any of the above products are received faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us at sales@homeofclay.co.uk and we will resolve the matter in accordance with your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

All reviews published on our website are from verified purchasers. We do not commission, purchase, or incentivise fake or misleading reviews, and we do not suppress genuine negative reviews.
9. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law. Your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and all other applicable consumer protection legislation are not affected by these Terms.
We shall not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the website or the products purchased through it, except where such loss arises from our negligence or breach of contract.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the website after changes have been made indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms. The date at the top of this document reflects when these Terms were last updated.
13. Promotional Codes and Discounts
Promotional codes, voucher codes, and other discounts (together referred to as "discount codes") must be entered at checkout and applied before you confirm and place your order.
- Discount codes cannot be applied retrospectively to an order that has already been placed and confirmed, and we are under no obligation to refund any price difference where a discount code was not used at the time of purchase.
- Discount codes are subject to any additional terms stated in the relevant promotion, including validity dates, eligible products, minimum spend, and maximum discount.
- Only one discount code can be used per order, unless otherwise stated.
- We reserve the right to withdraw or amend discount codes at any time, provided this does not affect orders which have already been placed using a valid code.
- If an order is cancelled or refunded, any refund will be limited to the amount actually paid by you after the discount was applied.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
