Supreme Hedonism is the loud end of the Supreme book — onyx, quartzite and Patagonia, mostly in Lux 3D and Soft 3D, where the polish follows the veining instead of covering it.

The eight stones

Calacatta Dante is a dramatic gold-and-grey Calacatta; Onice Fantastico and Pure Onyx two banded onyxes, the second the calmer of the pair and the only stone here offered in flat Lux and Soft; Golden Spider a white shot through with a web of gold.

The exotics: Patagonia Blue, the crystalline blue-and-grey quartzite; Quarzite Sky, a paler, icier version of the same idea; Silver Roots, a grey quartzite with root-like veining; and Dover White, the softest of the eight and the one that will take a whole floor.

How to use it

The 3D finishes are the reason to buy this collection. On Lux 3D the gloss sits only on the veining, so the stone catches light the way a real polished onyx does rather than reflecting like a sheet of glass. Soft 3D does the same with a satin. Both want to be lit from the side, not straight on.

These are feature stones. One wall, one island end, one splashback — Patagonia Blue behind a bar, Onice Fantastico backlit in a bathroom. If you need the same family across a whole floor, use Dover White or Silver Roots in the matt Naturale and save the 3D for the vertical.

FAQs

How much should I order?

Measure the area in m² and add 10% for cuts, breakages and spares for future repairs (15% for herringbone or diagonal layouts). Tiles are sold in full boxes only. Use the box calculator next to the price: it adds the 10%, rounds up to whole boxes and fills in the quantity for you.

What does rectified mean?

Rectified tiles are ground to an exact size after firing, giving straight, sharp edges. That allows tight grout joints of around 2–3 mm. Non-rectified (natural-edge) tiles need a slightly wider joint.

What do R10, R11 and A+B mean?

R ratings (DIN 51130) measure slip resistance in shoes: R10 suits most indoor floors, and R11 suits outdoor areas and wet, heavy-use spaces. A+B (DIN 51097) is the barefoot wet rating, used for showers and pool surrounds. The rating for your chosen finish is shown under Technical information.

What does V3 shade variation mean?

V3 means moderate variation in shade and pattern from tile to tile, as you'd see in natural stone. Draw tiles from several boxes as you lay, so the variation spreads evenly across the floor.
