The Coalbrook Domo 3TH Wall Mounted Basin Mixer with Boss DO1018 is the wall mounted three-hole Domo with a 165mm spout projection and a boss detail where the spout meets the wall. It carries the product code DO1018. The 165mm reach suits a standard basin depth; if your bowl is deeper or set further forward, the DO1021 gives 190mm. Available in 4 finishes: Brushed Brass, Chrome, Gunmetal and Brushed Nickel.

Key features

• 165mm spout projection — Sized for a standard basin depth. The DO1021 is the same tap with 190mm reach for deeper bowls.
• Boss detail — A heavier collar where the spout emerges from the wall, giving a more substantial junction than a plain escutcheon.
• Rough required, ordered separately — This mixer needs the CO1301 rough, which is not supplied with the tap.

The rough is a separate order

Every 3TH wall mounted basin mixer needs the CO1301 rough, and it is not included with the mixer. This is the part that catches people out: the rough goes into the wall at first fix, weeks before the visible brassware arrives. Order the mixer alone and the plumber turns up to a wall with nothing to install.

Specifying the DO1018

Measure from the finished wall face rather than the blockwork. Tile and adhesive can take 15mm or more off the effective projection, which is the difference between water landing centrally and landing at the back of the bowl.

Three wall penetrations have to line up with the basin below, a tighter tolerance than any deck mounted tap. Send us the basin model and the counter height and we will check the setting-out before anything is ordered.

A wall mounted tap clears the counter but leaves the pipework below the basin on show. The CO5004 exposed bottle trap in a matching finish stops being optional.
