Coalbrook Rough Required for 3TH Wall Mounted Basin Mixers CO1301

The Coalbrook CO1301 is the rough body required with every 3TH wall mounted basin mixer in the Coalbrook range. It sets into the wall before it is closed and tiled, and it is ordered separately from the visible tap.

• Required, not optional — Every 3TH wall mounted basin mixer needs one. The tap cannot be installed without it.
• Ordered separately — It is not supplied with the mixer, so it has to be on the order in its own right.
• First fix only — Installed before the wall is closed and tiled, weeks before the visible brassware arrives.
• No visible finish — Concealed behind the finished wall, so no finish choice is required.

Which mixers need it

The CO1301 is used with the 3TH wall mounted basin mixers across all four ranges — Domo, Decca, Bank and Zurich, in both 165mm and 190mm spout projections, with or without the boss detail.

The 2TH wall mounted basin mixers take a different rough, the CO1201. If you are unsure which your mixer needs, send us the product code and we will confirm it.

Why it matters

This is the part that catches people out. The rough goes into the wall at first fix; the visible mixer arrives much later. Order the mixer alone and the plumber turns up to a wall with nothing to install, and the job stops.

When you ask us to quote a wall mounted mixer we will check the rough is on the order and quote both together with lead times.
