Why the plate version

The backplate is worth considering where pipework is going into an existing wall rather than new studwork. Separate escutcheons expose any misalignment between the two penetrations; a single plate hides it. On a new build with accurate first fix, either will look right.

Wall mounted taps are set out before the wall is closed. Send us the basin model and the counter height and we will check the setting-out with you before anything is ordered.

The pipework below a wall mounted tap is usually more visible, not less. Order the CO5004 exposed bottle trap in a matching finish.
