The Bard & Brazier Florian FLW70/66R is a wall mounted towel rail measuring 700 x 665mm, a towel warmer with a smooth, sweeping frame and a distinctly vintage, opulent feel. It is available in 12 hand-applied finishes and as a hydronic rail, with a heat output of 2,862 Btu/h (839W).

Where to use the FLW70/66R

The Florian looks best in a traditional or vintage scheme — think period bathrooms, country houses and boutique hotel-style suites. A 665mm width sits comfortably on most bathroom walls, beside a basin or opposite the shower. The low 700mm height lets it sit under a window or beneath a vanity mirror. Being wall mounted it keeps the floor clear for easy cleaning; it needs a solid wall or noggins behind the board for fixing.

At 2,862 Btu/h (839W) the FLW70/66R is a high-output rail that can act as the main heat source in many bathrooms as well as warming towels. Ask us for a quick heat-loss check if it is the only heating in the room.

Hydronic only

The Florian is made as a hydronic rail only, connected to your central heating (closed system). Bard & Brazier's range chart does not list sealed electric or dual fuel versions of the Florian; if you need an electric rail, look at the La Fayette or Baronial for a similar traditional look.

This model is for closed circuits only — it is not suitable for a direct (open) hot water system when ordered hydronic.

Add them in the Valves option above — Bard & Brazier recommend the Pullman exposed valves, Portobello exposed valves, Penhallam exposed valves for the Florian — and they are made in the same finish as your rail, with the cost added to the price shown. Pipe centres for the valves are 468mm, and the rail projects 250mm from the wall.
