Versailles draws on French Baroque interiors with a family of honed marbles in seven colours: Creme, Ecru, Brun, Marron, Rouge, Vert and Noir. Vert, for example, is a black-green stone flecked with emerald and jagged white veins. Together they allow rich chequerboards and borders, or a single colour across interior walls and floors.
