Origins Living Claris Capsule LED Mirror

The Origins Living Claris Capsule LED Mirror is an illuminated bathroom mirror from the Claris range, available in 2 sizes.

The Claris Capsule takes the softest possible rectangle and wraps it in a continuous halo of light. There is no visible dot pattern in the LED strip, so the glow reads as a single unbroken line rather than a row of points — the detail that separates a considered mirror from a merely lit one. Colour temperature runs the full range from 3000K warm to 6000K cool, dimmable at a touch, so the same mirror handles early-morning shaving and a late bath equally well.

Home of Clay is an Origins Living stockist, with the range on display at our Newcastle-under-Lyme showroom in Staffordshire.

Key features

• Ambient perimeter lighting - Light escapes around the whole edge of the glass and washes the wall behind, so the mirror lifts the room rather than just lighting your face.
• Dynamic colour temperature, 3000K to 6000K - One mirror covers a cool, accurate light for shaving and make-up and a warm glow for the evening, without a second circuit.
• Touch-operated dimmer - Dim and change temperature from a pad on the glass. No wall control to fit.
• Demister pad included - A heated pad behind the glass keeps a clear patch through a shower. Already fitted, not an extra.
• Dotless LED strip - No visible dot pattern in the light. The glow reads as one unbroken line, which is the detail that separates a considered mirror from a merely lit one.
• IP44 rated for bathroom Zone 2 - Suitable for the 600mm radius above a washstand and the perimeter around a bath or shower.
• Hangs two ways - The same mirror works in more than one position, which helps when you are working around a window reveal or an off-centre basin.

Why choose the Claris Capsule LED Mirror?

Available in 2 sizes, from 450 x 900mm to 600 x 1000mm. Measure the wall before you choose: a mirror that is too small above a wide vanity is the commonest regret, and going one size up is almost always the right call.

All bathroom luminaires must be installed on a 30mA RCD-protected circuit in accordance with IEE regulations.
