Product description
Micrex is a decorative, water-based epoxy mortar for interior floors that need to take real wear. It bonds strongly to concrete, tiles and existing resin coatings, can be laid as a semi self-levelling screed, and is tinted to the colour you want for a wide range of decorative effects.
Ideal for homes, offices, shops and light industrial spaces.

How it's applied
- Prepare — concrete sound, dry (0% substrate moisture), level and absorbent, fully cured (>28 days). Prepare mechanically.
- Prime — on a level surface, 2 coats of Primer 2C + 0.1–0.3 quartz, then 1 coat of Micrex Base. On an uneven surface, 2 coats of Microforce Ground, then 1 coat of Micrex Base. Damp substrates need Epoxim Plus 3C with mesh.
- Mix — pour Component B into Component A and mix at low speed; add pigment as required.
- Apply — trowel at 0.5–0.6 kg/m² per coat.
