Flaviker Four Seasons Wood-Effect Porcelain Tiles

Four Seasons is Flaviker’s oak plank — three tones, plank widths from a 10x60 parquet strip up to a 26x200 board, a chevron, and a 20mm X20 grade that takes the same floor out into the garden.

The three woods, plus Industrial

Honey is the warm golden oak and the most specified of the three; Biscuit a paler, greyer limed oak; and Chocolate the dark smoked end of the card. Honey is the only one made in the 120x280 slab.

Each also comes as Industrial — the same oak with a rougher, more reclaimed graphic, sawn and knotted rather than clean. It is made in the 20x120 plank only, and is the one to use when a floor should look salvaged rather than new.

How to use it

The 26x200 is the board to use if you want the floor to read as real timber — two metres of length is what sells the illusion, and at 6mm it is light enough to go over an existing floor. The 20x120 is the everyday plank and the best value in the collection.

The 7.5x40.7 chevron is cut left and right in the same box, so order it as one item and set out from the centre line of the room. Porcelain planks want a maximum 1/3 offset, not a half-bond — at half-bond the natural bow in a long format shows up as lipping.

Because the 20mm X20 is the same graphic, an internal kitchen floor can run through a sliding door onto a terrace and read as one continuous timber deck.

• Sold by: the m² for standard sizes; 120x280 are sold per piece — each listing shows the m² a slab covers
• Prices: inclusive of VAT and of delivery from the factory in Italy
• Delivery: charged at the basket by the weight of your order — UK mainland kerbside pallet. Most 8.5mm porcelain runs about 19kg per m², 6mm slabs about 16.5kg per m², and 20mm X20 about 45kg per m²
• Crated sizes: 120x280, 26x200 travel on a crate, A-frame or boarded pallet — an oversized pallet handling charge is added at the basket and confirmed before despatch
• Lead time: 4–6 weeks, ordered from Italy. Non-stocked lines are made to order
• Minimum order: one full box — part boxes cannot be supplied
• Allow 10% over your measured area for cuts and future repairs
