Fioranese Montpellier Esterno Outdoor Porcelain Paving

Montpellier Esterno — the outdoor half of the Montpellier collection, in the same aged-limestone face as the interior tiles. Two routes: a 9mm Esterno that bonds conventionally and keeps the tone and joint line running through a threshold, and a 20mm gres++ paver heavy enough to dry-lay on grass, gravel or pedestals.

Montpellier reproduces an aged French limestone — the kind of floor that has been walked on for two hundred years and worn unevenly for it. The surface carries that irregularity deliberately: shading shifts across the face, and no two tiles read quite the same.

Colours

Talco is the palest, a cool chalk-white that opens up a dark room. Sabbia is a warm sand, the most forgiving of the four alongside oak and brass. Cenere is a mid ash grey and the most architectural. Moka is the deepest, a warm brown that reads almost as a dark stone flag.

Which colours run outdoors

The outdoor range is not a straight mirror of the interior one. The 60.4x90.6 runs in all four tones in 9mm Esterno. The 60.4x60.4, the 30.2x60.4 and the step elements are made in Talco and Cenere only. In 20mm, the rectified-edge paver comes in Talco, Sabbia and Cenere, while the shaped-edge version adds Moka. If you are matching an interior floor in Sabbia or Moka, plan around the 60.4x90.6.

Step and edge elements

The Lineare ad Elle wraps a step in a single piece; the left- and right-handed Angolare elements turn the corner. The smaller Elemento a Elle is an edge trim for a pool coping or a low wall. All are 9mm Esterno in Talco and Cenere, sold per piece.

See it before you buy

Outdoor porcelain looks quite different wet, and the 20mm paver has a noticeably coarser grip than the 9mm — both worth handling before you specify.
