Japan is the glossy side of the collection — a 20.13x20.13 decor carrying a single repeating Japanese motif, glazed to a full gloss so it holds real depth under artificial light.
Kintsugi is the Japanese practice of repairing broken ceramics with molten gold so the join becomes the most valuable part of the object. Fioranese have taken that idea onto porcelain — a soft, hand-worked concrete ground crossed by raised metallic seams that catch the light. The collection won the ADI Ceramics & Bathroom Design Award and was selected for the ADI Design Index, which for a tile range is unusual.
One face per colour, so it lays as a clean, regular pattern. That makes it the more controlled option of the two glossy decors, and the easier one to work into a small space.
Colours
Japan White is pale grey on white and stays quiet across a full wall. Japan Rust is a warm terracotta that carries real weight in a small room. Japan Blue is a classic indigo on white, the most recognisably Japanese of the four. Japan Black is graphite on charcoal and needs good light to read properly.

Where it works
At 20.13x20.13 with a gloss glaze, Japan earns its keep vertically: a kitchen splashback, a shower recess, a fireplace surround, the back wall of a cloakroom. It can go on a floor, but only in ordinary-traffic areas already protected from grit by matting or a porch run — a gloss glaze will show scratching where a matt tile would not. For a floor in the same room, pair it with a matt Kintsugi tone.
