Fioranese Côte Stone-Effect Porcelain Tiles

Côte by Fioranese — Burgundy limestone, read as porcelain. The reference is Buxy, the pale French stone quarried in Saône-et-Loire and used across Burgundy for centuries. Côte takes its fine veining and warm, earthy tones without tipping into imitation: the surface reads as quarried rock rather than a photograph of one.

The collection is built for continuity between inside and out. Every colour runs in a 9mm Naturale for interiors, a half-polished Lucido, and a matching R11 Esterno with a grip surface for terraces and pool surrounds — the same face and the same tone throughout, so a floor can carry straight through a set of doors. Above that sits a 20mm gres++ paver in two large formats for dry-laid or pedestal installation, and a tumbled-edge Briques mosaic for detail work.

Colours

Ivoire is the palest, a soft warm white that lifts north-facing rooms and stays quiet across a large floor. Sable carries a sandy, golden cast and is the easiest of the four alongside oak and brass. Gris is a cool, understated stone grey with clearly visible veining. Terre is the deepest and most earthy, a warm brown-grey that anchors a room.

The outdoor range

Two routes outside. The 9mm Esterno is the same tile as the interior Naturale with an R11 grip surface, so it bonds conventionally and keeps the joint line and tone running through a threshold. The 20mm gres++ is a structural paver in 90.6x90.6 and 60.4x120.8, heavy enough to dry-lay on grass, gravel or pedestals without adhesive — useful over a roof deck, or where you may want to lift and re-lay later. Both are frost resistant.

Special trims

A 7.5x60.4 battiscopa is made in all four tones in both Naturale and Lucido, so the skirting can match whichever finish the floor uses. Sold per piece — allow roughly two per 1.2m of wall, plus one per external corner. The Mosaico Briques is a 30.2x60.4 sheet of twelve tumbled-edge pieces in two sizes, split from the 30.2x60.4 tile, and is priced per square metre.

• Allow 10% over your measured area for cuts and future repairs

See it before you buy

Limestone effect is a subtle material and the step between Ivoire, Sable, Gris and Terre is easier to judge in person than on screen, particularly under artificial light — and the difference between the Naturale and the half-polished Lucido is almost impossible to photograph honestly.
