Why two outlets is usually right

An overhead to stand under and a handset to rinse the enclosure down covers almost everything a domestic shower is asked to do. Switching between them rather than running both also means the full flow goes to whichever is in use, which matters more than most people realise on a typical UK supply.

Two outlets is where we would start for any single enclosure. Go to three only if a body jet or second head is genuinely wanted, and go to one only if there is no room or no need for a handset.

The head and handset are separate items. The CO4003 300mm and CO4004 200mm fixed heads and the CO4001 wall outlet, hose and handset all match the same four finishes. If you would rather buy the valve and components together, the SP1DO shower pack bundles them.
