Product description

WIDEgres 260 by COEM, 120 × 120cm is COEM's large-format porcelain slab range: thin, light and strong, with very few joints.

The collection

WIDEgres brings COEM's stone, marble and concrete designs to slab scale. At 6 mm thick the slabs are easy to cut and drill, so they can cover a full wall, a large floor or a kitchen island with very few joints, and the same design can run from floor to wall. The 120 × 120cm square comes in the same designs as the 120 × 260cm slabs, so floors and walls can match.

The colours

Porfirica Brown · Porfirica Grey · Modica Beige · Lagos Ivory · Lagos Sand · Lagos Light Grey · Gre Effort Grey · Calacatta Effect · Calacatta Effect (polished) · Statuario Effect · Imperiale Effect · Imperiale Effect (polished) · Port Laurent Effect · Port Laurent Effect (polished)

How to use it

Lay the 120 × 120 cm square on floors and pair it with the matching 120 × 260 cm slabs on walls, so the same marble or stone effect runs through the whole room. It works best in open-plan spaces and large bathrooms, where fewer joints make the surface read as natural stone.

FAQs

How much should I order?

Measure the area in m² and add 10% for cuts, breakages and spares for future repairs (15% for herringbone or diagonal layouts). Tiles are sold in full boxes only. Use the box calculator next to the price: it adds the 10%, rounds up to whole boxes and fills in the quantity for you.

What does rectified mean?

Rectified tiles are ground to an exact size after firing, giving straight, sharp edges. That allows tight grout joints of around 2–3 mm. Non-rectified (natural-edge) tiles need a slightly wider joint.

What do R10, R11 and A+B mean?

R ratings (DIN 51130) measure slip resistance in shoes: R10 suits most indoor floors, and R11 suits outdoor areas and wet, heavy-use spaces. A+B (DIN 51097) is the barefoot wet rating, used for showers and pool surrounds. The rating for your chosen finish is shown under Technical information.

What does V3 shade variation mean?

V3 means moderate variation in shade and pattern from tile to tile, as you'd see in natural stone. Draw tiles from several boxes as you lay, so the variation spreads evenly across the floor.

How long does delivery take?

COEM tiles are shipped from Italy, typically within 2–4 weeks. Delivery is free on orders of £750 and over; under that, pallet delivery is calculated at checkout. Large-format tiles and slabs (90 × 90 cm and above) always carry a delivery charge, calculated at checkout. Call us on 01782 617517 if you need a firm date.
