Cardoso by COEM — natural intensity. Pietra di Cardoso is a fine sandstone quarried in the Apuan Alps of northern Tuscany, long used for Italian stairs, thresholds and paving and recognised by the pale striped grains that move lightly across its surface. This porcelain stoneware reproduces that character across five tones, from the warm sand of Corda through to the dense charcoal of Antracite.
Available in five colours, five finishes and eleven sizes — including 20mm GresX2 paving, a 5x5 mosaic and a Palladiana composition — Cardoso is a single stone for interiors, terraces and pool surrounds alike.
Colours
Corda is a warm sand tone with soft cream striping, the lightest in the range. Beige is a touch deeper and warmer, sitting comfortably with oak and rattan. Grigio Chiaro is a pale silvery grey with clear pale veining, the most versatile of the five. Grigio Scuro is a mid-charcoal with strong directional grain. Antracite is a deep near-black with bright mineral flecking, striking as a feature floor or a contrast border.

See it before you buy
Cardoso runs from V2 to V4 depending on size, so the smaller formats vary noticeably tile to tile — something photographs rarely convey. Samples of all five colours are available to order, and the range is on display at our luxury interiors showroom in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, where you can compare finishes side by side in natural light. Our team can help with quantities, layout, trims and adhesive specification. Call 01782 617517 or email sales@homeofclay.co.uk for a quotation or to arrange a visit.
