The Coalbrook Zurich ZU1007 is the 2 tap hole basin mixer in the Zurich range, carrying the product code ZU1007. Zurich is the sharpest and most geometric of the four Coalbrook ranges, and the one that offers ceramic handle options alongside the metal levers. Available in 4 finishes: Brushed Brass, Chrome, Gunmetal and Brushed Nickel.

• First-fix installation — The concealed body goes into the wall before it is closed and tiled, weeks before the visible brassware arrives.

• Rough required, ordered separately — This mixer needs the CO1201 rough, which is not supplied with the tap.

The rough is a separate order

The 2TH wall mounted basin mixers need the CO1201 rough, and it is not included with the mixer. The rough goes into the wall at first fix, weeks before the visible brassware arrives, so it has to be on the order from the start. Order the mixer alone and the plumber turns up to a wall with nothing to install.

Specifying the ZU1007

Wall mounted brassware is set out before the wall closes and cannot be adjusted afterwards. Send us the basin model and the counter height and we will check the setting-out with you before anything is ordered.

A wall mounted tap clears the counter but leaves the pipework below the basin on show. The CO5004 exposed bottle trap in a matching finish stops being optional.

The ZU1009 is the same tap supplied with a backplate, which covers both wall penetrations in one piece and is more forgiving of imperfect first-fix work.
