ZU1007 vs ZU1009 -- which should I choose?

The choice between the ZU1007 and ZU1009 comes down to the wall finish around the tap connections. The ZU1007 without plate is the cleaner option where the taps are set into a tiled wall and the tile finish itself provides a neat surround to the connections. The ZU1009 with plate is the better choice where the wall surface around the connections is not tiled or where a fully finished plated appearance is preferred regardless of wall finish. Both deliver the same Zurich design quality, finish options and engineering specification.

Important -- CO1201 rough required

The Coalbrook ZU1009 wall mounted basin mixer requires the CO1201 rough for installation. The rough is the concealed body fitted within the wall during first fix, to which the ZU1009 trimset is connected at second fix.
