Specifying the DO1010

Small items like this are usually the last thing specified and the first thing to spoil a scheme if the finish is a near-match rather than an exact one. Ordering the accessories at the same time as the brassware is the simplest way to avoid that.

Range choice is really a question of character. Decca carries texture; Domo is stripped back and modern; Bank leans transitional; Zurich is the sharpest and most geometric. Because the four ranges share an identical finish palette, a project can run one range in the principal bathroom and another in the cloakroom without the metalwork looking mismatched.

A word on finishes. Chrome is the neutral, universally matchable option. Brushed Nickel offers warmth without drama and is the most forgiving in a hard water area.
