Coalbrook C-Box for Concealed Shower Valves CO3001 / CO3002 / CO3003 / CO3101

The Coalbrook C-Box is the concealed body that houses a shower valve inside the wall. It is supplied with every Coalbrook concealed shower valve — you do not need to buy one separately when you order a valve. This page is here for reference, and for spares or replacements.

Key features

• Included with the valve — Every Coalbrook concealed shower valve is supplied with the matching C-Box. Order the valve and the C-Box comes with it.
• Adjustable installation depth — Secures to the back of the recess or to the front plasterboard, at depths from 77mm to 92mm.
• Built-in spirit level — The dust cover carries a spirit level so the valve is installed square, which is the sort of thing nobody notices until it is wrong.
• First fix only — Fitted before the wall is closed and tiled.

Which C-Box goes with which valve

• CO3001 — for the 1 outlet concealed shower valves (DO3001, DC3001, BA3001, ZU3001)
• CO3002 — for the 2 outlet concealed shower valves (DO3002, DC3002, BA3002, ZU3002)
• CO3003 — for the 3 outlet concealed shower valves (DO3003, DC3003, BA3003, ZU3003)
• CO3101 — for the 2 outlet shower valve with handspray (DO3101, BA3101)

The C-Box is matched to the outlet count, so it is decided by the valve rather than chosen separately. If you are ordering a valve, the right one comes with it.

When you would order one on its own

Only as a spare, a replacement, or where a first-fix has been started ahead of the brassware decision — the C-Box goes into the wall long before the visible trimset is chosen, so some installers want it on site early.
