The Bard & Brazier Florian FLW90/80 is a wall mounted towel rail measuring 900 x 800mm, a towel warmer with a smooth, sweeping frame and a distinctly vintage, opulent feel. It is available in 12 hand-applied finishes and as a hydronic rail, with a heat output of 1,354 Btu/h (397W).

Where to use the FLW90/80

The Florian looks best in a traditional or vintage scheme — think period bathrooms, country houses and boutique hotel-style suites. A 800mm width sits comfortably on most bathroom walls, beside a basin or opposite the shower. Being wall mounted it keeps the floor clear for easy cleaning; it needs a solid wall or noggins behind the board for fixing.

At 1,354 Btu/h (397W) the FLW90/80 warms towels well and puts real background heat into an average-sized bathroom or en-suite. In a large or poorly insulated room, treat it as a supplement to the main heating.

Hydronic only

The Florian is made as a hydronic rail only, connected to your central heating (closed system) or hot water (open system). Bard & Brazier's range chart does not list sealed electric or dual fuel versions of the Florian; if you need an electric rail, look at the La Fayette or Baronial for a similar traditional look.

Add them in the Valves option above — Bard & Brazier recommend the Pullman exposed valves, Portobello exposed valves, Penhallam exposed valves for the Florian — and they are made in the same finish as your rail, with the cost added to the price shown. Pipe centres for the valves are 600mm, and the rail projects 250mm from the wall.
