ABK Sensi Roma Travertine-Effect Porcelain Tiles

Sensi Roma reproduces Roman travertine — the stone of the Colosseum and half the city’s facades — in porcelain that can go where the real stone can’t: showers, kitchens and outside.

The five colours

White, Ivory and Cream are the classic light travertines; Ivory is vein-cut (linear banding) while Cross Ivory is cross-cut — the calmer, cloudier face of the same stone; and Red is the rare Persian red travertine, a deep oxblood for feature use.

• Material: Full-body porcelain stoneware, made in Italy by ABK (Fiorano, Modena)
• Thicknesses: 6mm (120x280), 8.5mm (120x120, 60x120, 80x160, 80x80) and 20mm OUT.20 outdoor
• Finishes: matt Naturale (P.tech R10 C), Antique 3D, polished Lux 3D, and R11 anti-slip
• Slip ratings: Naturale R10 C; dedicated R11 items and 20mm R11 OUT.20 for terraces and pool surrounds
• Application: Internal floors and walls; R11 and OUT.20 items for external use

How to use it

Travertine wants continuity: run the same colour inside in Naturale and outside in 20mm R11 and the threshold disappears. Vein-cut Ivory should be laid with the banding in one direction; Cross Ivory is the one to choose if you want travertine warmth without stripes.

Ordering & delivery

• Sold by: the m² for standard sizes; large-format slabs (120x280 and 160x320) are sold per piece — each listing shows the m² a slab covers
• Prices: inclusive of VAT
• Crated sizes: 120x280 and 160x320 slabs travel on a crate or A-frame and 120x120 on a boarded pallet — a handling charge is added at the basket and confirmed before despatch
• Delivery: 4–6 weeks, ordered from Italy. Non-stocked lines are made to order
• Allow 10% over your measured area for cuts and future repairs

Marble-effect porcelain lives or dies on the quality of the graphic, and no thumbnail does a 2.8-metre slab justice.
