Poetry Stone Reloaded extends Paola Navone’s Poetry House with two quieter stones: Roman Basaltina and German Jura limestone — surfaces that sit back and let the room speak.

The six colours

Basaltina comes in Silver, Smoke and Dark — the cool volcanic greys of Roman paving; Jura in Sand, White and Ash — warmer, fossil-flecked limestone tones.

Specification

• Material: Full-body porcelain stoneware, made in Italy by ABK (Fiorano, Modena)
• Thicknesses: 6mm (120x280), 8.5mm (120x120, 60x120, 20x120, 60x60) and 20mm OUT.20
• Finishes: matt Naturale (P.tech R10 C) and R11 anti-slip; bush-hammered ABKSTONE slabs to order
• Application: Internal floors and walls, external terraces and pool surrounds

How to use it

Basaltina Dark with pale timber and brass is the contemporary classic; the 20x120 listello lets you border or band without changing colour. Jura Sand outside in 20mm reads convincingly as stone setts.

Ordering & delivery

• Sold by: the m² for standard sizes; large-format slabs (120x280 and 160x320) are sold per piece — each listing shows the m² a slab covers
• Prices: inclusive of VAT
• Crated sizes: 120x280 and 160x320 slabs travel on a crate or A-frame and 120x120 on a boarded pallet — a handling charge is added at the basket and confirmed before despatch
• Delivery: 4–6 weeks, ordered from Italy. Non-stocked lines are made to order
• Allow 10% over your measured area for cuts and future repairs

See it before you buy

Marble-effect porcelain lives or dies on the quality of the graphic, and no thumbnail does a 2.8-metre slab justice. Samples are available to order, and the ABK ranges are on display at our luxury interiors showroom in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, where you can see whole slabs rather than chips.
