Liquid iron, copper and bronze are then applied by hand and oxidised, drawing rich natural patinas out of the metal itself. The colour isn't pigment sitting on the surface — it is the metal reacting — so the depth and movement are real, and no two benches are ever alike.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEach seat is sanded, polished and sealed with a protective polyurethane lacquer, giving a hard-wearing surface with a lasting metallic sheen.
